Call for Papers
Agro-Geoinformatics 2021

Because of travel restrictions due to COVID-19 and concerns about the health and safety of the attendees, the Ninth International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics will be a virtual conference. This conference is organized and hosted by the International Society of Agricultural Informatics (preparation) with technical and financial sponsorships from IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, World Meteorological Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization, Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), Remote Sensing (ISSN 2072-4292), Agricultural and Environmental Informatics Application and Research Center (TARBİL), and Center for Spatial Information Science and Systems (CSISS) of George Mason University.

Agro-geoinformation is critical for the agricultural sustainability, food security, environmental research, bioenergy, natural resource conservation, land use management, carbon accounting, global climate change, health research, agricultural industry, commodity trading, economy research, education, agricultural decision making and policy formulation, etc. The annual Agro-Geoinformatics conferences have been successfully held since 2012. The Agro-Geoinformatics conferences have provided and will continue to provide an ideal venue for researchers, scientists, engineers, professors and students to exchange their ideas, research results, professional experiences, the latest developments and future vision of agro-geoinformatics. The Agro-Geoinformatics 2021 conference will continue covering the recent advances in the life cycle of agro-geoinformatics, from data collection (including field surveys and remote sensing), processing, storing, archiving, preservation, retrieving, transmitting, accessing, visualization, analyzing, synthesizing, presenting and dissemination to decision makers. This conference encourages the submission of papers which include: original research, work in progress, new findings, new methods, new ideas and new applications.

The conference will include plenary, oral, and special sessions. The topics of the conference are listed HERE.

Selected paper will be published in Remote Sensing journal (ISSN 2072-4292).
All abstracts must be 400-500 words long and written in English. Abstracts must include title and authors (first name surname), and indicate the presenter by underlining the name and providing that author’s contact details: affiliations, department, full address (street, city, state/province, and country), telephone, fax, and Email. Selected keywords are also required to be included in submitted abstract. This would be beneficial for your papers to be assigned to proper conference sessions. Submission format for full paper shall be following the instructions published at: http://www.agro-geoinformatics.org. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed to maintain high quality presentations. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore.
