Alaska State Plane Zones

This file contains the longitude lines which define the Alaska Coordinate System of 1927, state plane zones one through ten. The system of rectangular plane coordinates is established by the National Geodetic Survey, National Ocean Service, for defining and stating the positions or locations of points on the surface of the earth for the state. Refer to Alaska Statute 38.20.010 and to the publication below for further information. Publication: Snyder, John P.
