SAFORAH Distributed Data Network and Web Services

SAFORAH, or System of Agents for Forest Observation Research with Automation Hierarchies, was developed through a collaboration of government, university and industry to coordinate and streamline the archiving and sharing of numerous distributed large remote sensing data sets between various research groups with Canadian Forest Service, University of Victoria and other academic and government partners in support of national forest monitoring activities. SAFORAH also distributes derived forest information products.
