Local BioBlitz Challenge 2013

Records of all species recorded during Local BioBlitz Challenge 2013.

Geographic Coverage: Participating sites were Abbeyleix Bog, Co. Laois, Bull Island and St. Anne’s Park, Dublin City, Limerick City and the Gap of Dunloe, Co. Kerry.

Temporal Coverage: The Limerick City event was held on 24 & 25 August 2013, and the others on 7 & 8 June, 2013.

Species Groups recorded: amphibian, annelid, bird, bony fish (Actinopterygii), conifer, crustacean, fern, flowering plant, fungus, horsetail, insect - beetle (Coleoptera), insect - butterfly, insect - dragonfly (Odonata), insect - hymenopteran, insect - moth, insect - orthopteran, insect - true bug (Hemiptera), insect - true fly (Diptera), lichen, liverwort, mollusc, moss, quillwort, reptile, spider (Araneae), terrestrial mammal
