SMAP - Soil Moisture

This metadata entry represents a SERVIR-hosted, temporal web mapping service of soil moisture data from the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission. This global daily soil moisture product provides a composite of daily estimates of global land surface conditions retrieved by the SMAP passive microwave radiometer. Input SMAP L-band brightness temperatures are resampled to a global, cylindrical 36 km Equal-Area Scalable Earth Grid, Version 2.0 (EASE-Grid 2.0).
