Uruguay NDVI drought index insurance Reports

NDVI estimación for a pilot index insurance for livestock production. 2015 – 2018

The Agroclimate and Information System Unit (GRAS) from the National Institute of Agriculture Research (INIA Uruguay) support the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fishery (MGAP) from Uruguay in the implementation of a NDVI index insurance pilot for livestock production against drought.
La Unidad de Agroclima y Sistemas de Información (GRAS) del Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agropecuaria (INIA) apoya al Ministerio de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca (MGAP) en la implementación de una prueba piloto del seguro índice NDVI para cubrir sequías en la ganadería de cría.
