Signalised Intersection

Lineage: The traffic signals were collected as points for display and asset management purposes to keep track of council controlled/maintained traffic lights. The DTMR signals and the railway crossings were added for display purposes and consistency.

Positional Accuracy:
The points only represent the centre of the intersection and not the spatial location of the actual traffic lights. The spatial accuracy of these points where validation via using high resolution aerial imagery and via field validation by a council officer. The accuracy is of a high level.

Attribute Accuracy: Attribute accuracy is of a high level as it has been validated by field work and one to one matching to councils asset management system.
