Government Response Stringency Index

A composite measure based on 9 response indicators including school closures, workplace closures, and travel bans, rescaled to a value from 0 to 100 (100 = strictest response). The average Stringency Index for each country per month is presented in this indicator.

The data is sourced from Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker, Blavatnik School of Government.
